Apply for EntreComp-based Mobility Program for students and teaching and management staff of secondary VET schools in Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia&Herzegovina

Dear Secondary School Administrators,

We are delighted to extend an invitation to all VET secondary schools in Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia&Herzegovina to participate in the EntreComp-based mobility program in the scope of the VETpreneur project, an initiative funded by the European Union aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills among educators and students within the Vocational Education and Training sector.

Program Overview: The Mobility program is designed to offer professional development opportunities to secondary school teams comprising management and teaching staff along with three final-year students. This seven-day program, scheduled for November 2024, will take place in the vibrant city of Belgrade, Serbia. Participants will engage in a range of activities focused on enhancing their understanding of entrepreneurial learning and fostering innovative teaching methodologies within formal education settings.

Key Program Topics:

  • Organization of VET teaching processes
  • Alignment of learning outcomes with the EntreComp framework
  • Utilization of non-formal teaching and learning methods
  • Integration of entrepreneurial learning programs
  • Collaboration with the business community
  • Enhancement of student employability
  • Introduction to the student company program in Serbia
  • Visits to successful schools and student companies
  • Mentorship from business professionals
  • Development of business and personal transferable skills

Open Call Details: The open call for participation in the VETpreneur Mobility program will remain open for 30 days, starting 2 September 2024 and closing on 1 October 2024. Schools are encouraged to apply with a team consisting of 1 management staff member, 1 teaching staff member, and 3 final-year students.

Selection criteria will be based on:

a) Motivation of the school and alignment with their development plan

b) Gender-balanced team composition

c) English language proficiency of proposed team members

Preference will be given to schools located in remote, rural, or least developed areas, as well as those actively involving students from marginalized populations.

How to Apply: Interested schools are invited to submit the APPLICATION FORM by 1st October 2024. The application should include a brief overview of the school’s motivation for participation, details of the proposed team members, and confirmation of English language proficiency.
