

In the period from November 3 to 9, 2024, a 7-day mobility program based on the framework for entrepreneurial skills (EntreComp) was implemented in Belgrade. The program brought together 50 participants, students, teachers and management staff from secondary vocational schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Montenegro. The goal of the program was to develop entrepreneurial skills among young people, with a focus on innovation, creativity and digital literacy.
The participants had the opportunity to visit a number of relevant institutions and companies that are crucial for the development of entrepreneurial and technological skills, among which are:
Center for the promotion of science – Participants were introduced to innovative projects and technologies developed by this center, with a special emphasis on the promotion of science among young people.
Nordeus Company – A visit to this successful company from the video game industry allowed the participants to hear about the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in the field of gaming.
First Belgrade High School and School of Pharmacy and Physiotherapy – Students had the opportunity to get to know the educational system in Serbia, exchange experiences with peers and teachers, as well as learn more about specific teaching programs.
Belgrade Science and Technology Park – Participants visited one of the key technology centers in the country, where they got an insight into the work of startups and technological innovators operating within the park.
In addition to the visits, the program also included interactive workshops and sessions dedicated to entrepreneurial skills and digital competences:
Girls Go Circular – A workshop that focused on the inclusion of girls in STEM fields and entrepreneurship through digital tools.
EntreComp Handbook – Participants had the opportunity to explore this entrepreneurial competency framework, which includes key skills such as creativity, proactivity, taking initiative and project management.
In addition to formal activities, the program also included a series of relaxed events that allowed the participants to get to know each other better and build a network of contacts. These activities included:
Networking events – Participants had the opportunity to connect with colleagues from the region through informal conversations and exchange of experiences.
Bowling – An evening of social activities was held, which contributed to the strengthening of team spirit and fun.
Historical tour of Belgrade – Participants visited key historical locations in Belgrade, getting to know the cultural and historical heritage of the city.
Making a digital postcard – A creative activity in which the participants had the opportunity to apply the acquired digital knowledge.
The mobility program was successfully implemented in the scope of the EU-funded VETpreneur project, with a positive response from the participants who emphasized the importance of such initiatives for acquiring new knowledge and skills. Through visits, workshops and informal activities, the participants developed entrepreneurial competencies and expanded their knowledge about innovation, entrepreneurship and digital technologies.
