From June 20 to 30, 2025, the VETpreneur Job Shadowing Program brought together 10 participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro for a 10-day learning experience in Cyprus, hosted by the Center for Social Innovation (CSI).
Participants — representatives of civil society organizations working in vocational education and training — had the chance to observe daily work in Cypriot CSOs, educational institutions, and social enterprises, and to explore how entrepreneurship and sustainability can be integrated into VET.
The program combined site visits, interactive workshops, and reflection sessions, covering topics such as green and circular economy, social innovation, STEAM education, and rural entrepreneurship. Beyond learning, the experience fostered networking and future Erasmus+ collaborations across the Western Balkans and Cyprus.
The participants returned home with new ideas, strengthened management skills, and inspiration to apply innovative, inclusive practices in their local communities.
